So glad to find it back in good condition on its mooring. The watchmen looked after it well.

I meet my sailfriends, the bartenders and the drinkers again in the bar of Tanga Yacht Club. Stephan says: we all go up to the farm on the mountain in Moheze for Christmas, come!

We take the daladala to Tanga bus station near street number 11 and find the daladala to Moheze, it is full! No problem, I get a child on my lap and another sailor a live chicken. It takes some time but we all arrive in one piece. Hungry, time to eat!

That was good! We find each a pickypicky that will bring us to the mountain top over the dirt roads.

We have 2 beautifull days at the farm, drinking, eating, talking, walking, listening to music.

Then a phonecall. Stefan your boat is on the other side of port, we went there and dropped the anchor for you. Please come back. I rush down the mountain by 4 *4 and pickypicky and take a taxi to Tanga in Moheze. The beachboys help to bring the ship back to the anchorage, so many thanks to the other sailors that saved my ship!

What happened? The chain of the club mooring that was hired to me by the Tanga Yacht club broke…

rust...chain a bit too thin now to hold a 53 foot ship
